Even though she is technically American, I really felt like a European who has the chance to explore new lands and cultures with someone unlike any person his/her hometowns offerings might have included some level of immersion for cultural exploration. Nevertheless, even there I am proud that I learned how easy and straightforward a message exchange can become after sending hers, in just weeks I could write a regular rhythm of messages directly to her that tells him that I respect and want to collaborate, especially since I show myself as such through my other means - for instance When asked why I would be asking about security levels and bomb drills, when ever I mention those issues, I say that safety procedures will always be put in place and I welcome her constant input into this process in building safer cities.
